Sinister Silhouettes Lurk in The Wicked Woods!

The door next to the headless woman has Jason standing there with a fire light behind him on weekends. It looks like we missed a window, but it is on purpose.

One of our major projects this year was to get some silhouettes for the yard haunt. I did not really like the cheesy ones you can buy at Halloween stores, so we bought some cloth and designed our own. Good old cotton bedsheets and black paint gets pretty creepy in my opinions, even in the light of day.

M wanted a haunted house feel to the haunt so we went with ghostly, skeletal, and zombie like figures.

This was our first test run. We found the design on line and copied it as best we could. We modified it a good deal to be more ghostly.

You can see t he reflection of one of the wind ghosts in this one.

They turn a great deal more sinister in the night!
Really love the Kitchen Window.

One of the cool things about these decorations is they look almost as good from the inside! Especially with the outdoor lights shining in!

These are great! You and Miranda are so talented! I may have to "borrow" the idea next year!

  2. KED!!! I don't know which one I like best! I have to say, the chain saw/tool one is pretty ingenious! Great effect. I love it. Just another amazing use for the common bed sheet :)
