The Cemetery at Midnight {Countdown to Halloween Day 24}

Had a great weekend! Attended a great wedding with some awesome friends, but I am so far behind on EVERYTHING, including material for an update. That is why I am running around in the Cemetery after Midnight taking some long exposure shots....enjoy!

Don't answer that door!

A sinister meeting by the church...

I do not think I want to be at this Church meeting!

Something creepy in the heart of Dollywood!

On a recent trip to Dollywood, we came upon a creepy little graveyard, right in the middle of the amusement park.

There's more than just the trees that are dead in The Deadwood Cemetery.

The October Boy over at The Deadwood Cemetery blog offers us a tantalizing peek at his vision of Halloween.

I am really digging those great witch jars hanging from that tree!

They bury them high so they can get out easier at the Highbury Cemetery

I always get haunt envy at how clean and well done Highbury Cemetery is. If "perfect" is a word you would use to describe a yard haunt, this would be it. Simple design, attention to detail, amazing lighting, and great costumes make this a visual masterpiece at Halloween.

The Davis Graveyard...so realistic you can feel your flesh rot.

The Frog Queen and her husband go all out for Halloween...... WAY OUT!

This is one of my absolute favorite haunts. When you love Halloween AND have mad creative skills, you get the Davis Graveyard.

This haunt is one of the most famous home haunts in America and is often seen on the news, news papers, and internet sites from all over during the Halloween season. They also offer "how to classes" and their amazingly realistic gravestones have even graced the lawn of the Playboy Mansion.

For this haunt team, nothing is too big or too outlandish. They have constructed a ruined cathedral in there yard! I am sure that soon we will see them construct an entire ruined castle of the damned before they are done.

Orange and Blue

COUNTESS VONRAUBER (HEIDI) over at 2nd Street Cemetery has really outdone herself this year. The orange grin of the jack-o's and the blue tombstones and ghosts really stand out to me. A very ghostly looking haunt.
