Skunk watches the Grinch, decides to ruin Christmas and cause a big stink!

We know what'll cheer you up this holiday season -- at least the gifts you're getting this Christmas haven't been totally ruined by some forest punk with a big stink sac and a bad attitude.

Well, prepare to take those good feelings and turn them into guilt, because while *your* fancy-schmancy Christmas presents might be fine and dandy, there's a whole bunch of kids in Oklahoma whose Christmas has been ruined.

The toys sprayed by the skunk were collected donations for Operation Christmas -- a charity in Purcell, Oklahoma. About $16,000 worth of toys were ruined by the Anal Glands that Stole Christmas. A few are salvageable, but most are too foul to give away.

The presents were meant to be distributed on Christmas Eve, but now the people of Purcell are trying to get enough donations to meet the demand. A Pro-Tip for next year: store the toys inside, rather than in a shed. But hindsight's always 20/20 in these skunk-ruining-an-entire-town's-Christmas scenarios, right?
Could the Grinch be recruiting skunks to do his foul work?

YES YES my minions! Soon I will have a stinking army of Christmas devastation!

It was a great party and we had a blast. Apparently my readers had a blast reading about it making this one of the top 5 most read posts of Halloween.

When I was a little kid, I always wanted a kitten or puppy for Christmas. If you intend to give somebody a cat for Christmas, here is a great video of how to wrap that cat for gifting!

"You will be pleased to know I found no cat's wrapped in your presents. Carry on!"
We are headed out to do some wicKED shopping today. Hope you all have a great Saturday! I will leave you with some oddball Santas:

Be good or Santa will send his army to kill you!

  1. Personal Confession:

    I love skunks.

They are adorable, and so cute, and not just Pepe LePew. I just love their cute little faces, and their stripes. *whispers* and I kinda like the smell too. When you are driving down the highway and get that freshly killed skunk smell? Doesn't bother me at all.

And now you all know what a freak I really am. Internet oversharing, at its finest- right here.

  3. The cat wrapping video was funny! I couldn't help but notice how many splices in the video there were, kitty probably was a little less cooperative than it appears. My cats would let you try that once, after which they would ball the paper up and throw it at your head.

  4. That is too bad about the toys. What they should do is hold an auction as a fundraiser for people to buy to give to people on their naughty list.

The cat being wrapped is adorable.

I am going to print off the picture of the Naughty or Nice Santa and put it on my son's door (he's 18 so he won't be too traumatized, but I know it will give him a chuckle)

  5. The cat in the video was awfully calm to let someone wrap it up like that! I kept waiting for it to attack the person, or at least try to move.

Thanks for getting back to me about the light gun in that previous post. I took your advice and tried the gun on a different string. There wasn't anything wrong with the new string, so the gun was beeping a lot. The string it didn't beep on was some old set attached to a battery pack. It's nice to know that it isn't the gun's problem. Thanks for the help. :)

  6. Pensive - I love the little buggers but not the smell. Had a dog get sprayed once... was a mess! Oversharing at it's best ;)

BeWitchy - make sure you video it!

art bliss - I am really going to try that out with Lilly when she is in a nap mood. I saw another video that was splice free and just a super tolerant cat.

Kathryn - That would have been a great idea! LOL hope he enjoys it... or else!

Justine - I agree, that was a good cat. The gun may not work on battery operated lights. It saved my mom's pre-lit tree this year too!
