Full moon of spring.

Full moon so large, so bright,
First full moon of spring’s crisp night.

To illuminate the world in silver fire,
As you hurl the sea into the shore’s desire.

The crickets chirp, the toads all call,
To your pale blue radiance that bathes them all.

The wolfs do howl, while the dogs all bay,
Coyotes yip while their young pups play.

May these calls to the moon be from nature and true,
And not of a dark and sinister crew.

Stalking the night in the moon’s cold embrace,
Searching for life to hunt and chase.

Pray the full moon night sees you safe in your home,
Not facing your fate in the darkness alone......
