Decorating with severed heads. (Creepmas day 10)

So why is it ok to hang severed heads on a tree at Christmas, but people get offended about it on Halloween. I don't understand this plus, the head is usually the most pleasant fellow in the universe..Santa!  By all means, deck our halls with severed heads!
