The hunt for the "Woodbooger" continues!

With our already uncharacteristically mild winter almost over, we have been having some rather terrible thunderstorms lately. We were even under a tornado watch Wednesday night. Thursday's weather gave us a much needed break with almost spring like weather and sun, so we got out of the house and took a walk around Wallen's Ridge in search of the elusive Woodbooger. (That and we are trying to get in shape by walking 5 miles a day when the weather breaks.).

Miranda's Christmas Cactus is confused again and blooming early/late. It looks fake the color is so vivid.
We happened upon some geese, or Woodbooger snacks. They went all Jurassic on Miranda and hissed at her when she approached.
McWoodbooger Duck Nugget. I always wondered how they stay so white while standing in mud.
We visited this very "squatchy" watering hole, but did not see any Woodboogers.
This super creepy abandoned house on the river has to provide shelter for a Woodbooger.... either that or an ax murderer.

Miranda trying her best to locate a "Woodbooger".
Not even her pinky finger could dislodge one.
While we  found no Woodboogers, the signs of an early spring were everywhere.

It was a glorious day to be out and about, even if the Woodbooger eluded us. As the sun sets on another day, I question whether the Woodbooger will ever be found.

  2. That woodbooger seems elusive... You seem to be getting the same wierdo weather we are. Tornadoes will be harrassing all night tonight.
