Black-Light Ballroom,Bar, and Billiards. The Basement Level of Meade Manor {Countdown to Halloween Day 27}

I am worn out! We hit Walmart today to get supplies (two full buggies) for the weekend, including M's weight in Halloween candy (I kid you not). Since our annual Halloween party is this Saturday, I figured I would tailor the post more to highlight the basement level of Meade Manor which we affectionately referred to as the Black-light Ballroom, Bar and Billiards. We change the entire basement lighting out to black light. There is a raised dancing/game room complete with every kind of laser and disco light there is. We even have a mirror ball (Skull shaped of course!) . The pool table has been retrofitted to be UV reactive and our bar area is all UV reactive too. Here are some interesting shots of a some of the basement area thus far. Be warned, this is the area in the house we allow whimsy and ....*gasp* Glitter! Enjoy!

Sneak Peek into the Blacklight Ballroom {Countdown to Halloween Day 12}

The Blacklight Ballroom is almost completely decorated with the exception of the Bar Room itself and the Blacklights in the rest of the basement. Here is some shots of what is going on so far with more to come!

Mostly Ghostly {Countdown to Halloween Day 8}

Friday marked the first day of Halloween season when I have all the special effects running on weekends in the Wicked Woods. It was a challenge getting all the projectors up and running but it went of without a hitch. I did not have time to wire in the sound system, but they will be no problem in the morning! Here are some images and a quick video of The Wicked Woods ghostly hosts.

Things that go bump in the living room. {Countdown to Halloween Day 4}

Just a new projection light on an old ghost prop....It really makes the living room come alive...so to speak....

These wicKED Woods are alive...with the undead! {Countdown to Halloween Day 2}

This is the latest I have been on Halloween in many years. Due to work, travel, other obligations, we got a pretty late start but at least the exterior lighting and static props are done. I only have 1 of our 5 projectors working at the moment and next weekend I should have them all running in force (Videos to come). M and I am going to be working full steam ahead this week to get the inside completed for the upcoming party.
