Creepy Nature

We are lucky enough to have 4 LARGE yellow tulip Poplar trees on the property. They turn a beautiful yellow (almost like a sugar maple) in fall and have yellow/orange flowers in spring. After the flowers fall, they leave a cone that eventually turns into these creepy claws of death!

  1. How can creepy be so beautiful. Although... I wouldn't want to get stuck in that tree!

  3. Very cool. There is a Tulip Poplar in Hollywood Cemetery that has a diameter of about 10 feet!
