Oh wow! What a wondrous collection of monstrous mechanics. I had no idea they had a mechanized Capt. Picard as a Borg. Super sweet! And Lurch and Robot together? Priceless!
Brilliant! I think this is the first mechanized monster post I've seen in 3 years of May Monster Madness! Love Lurch and Robbie the Robot... of course! I'm actually currently rewatching Cameron/Summer Glau on DVD, in 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'.
This is wonderful!!! So many of these brought back such great memories. I couldn't begin to pick a favorite. I do recognize most of them but a few left me scratching my head.
Great collection :) Especially loved the mechanical shark... I'm guessing that's from Jaws :) My computer is a mechanical monster that mocks me every day ;) Happy Friday!
Wow that is a big collection, afraid I didn't do well on naming, I only knew about 8. I'm on much firmer ground with the Dr Who monsters, my film knowledge is sadly lacking.
I was sadly to late to sign up for the party but I've gatecrashed in my own little way and put a post up anyway, would love it if you could pay a visit to my blog at Midnight Witchery. x
I'm very excited that I know about half of them...or think I do... Robby-the-Robot, Matrix sentinels, Mecha-Godzilla, Bruce, Terminator, Roboland, Storm Trooper, Judge Dred or Real Steel, Borg, War of the Worlds, Mecha-Mothra, Metropolis, Westworld, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Westworld or Bicentennial Man?, Elysium, Terminators (x 3), Thor's The Destroyer. Clone Wars, Hal (2001)
Daleks! I don't do Daleks! A whole generation later and those things still make me duck under the desk. *twitch* Other than the D-words, this is a fab collection! I expected to see the Iron Giant, but he, of course, wasn't a monster at all.*sob*

ReplyDeleteP.S. I couldn't ID as many as I thought I would... ;-(

ReplyDeleteVery nice. I was able to ID more than I should. I swear, I've watched too many movies, too many shows.
ReplyDeleteWow! I didn't realise there were so many.
ReplyDeleteI didn't identify them all, and my favourite is definitely the Robot Maria of Metropolis :)

ReplyDeleteGreat collection Ked, and you've included my favourites - Jaws, fembots, T-1000 and Robot Maria!
ReplyDeleteNeat post!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. And thank you for following my blog Traveling Cats. I'll add yours to my Bloglovin account.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't get much more monstrous than a psycho Meccano set!
