My wicKED Wish List 2013....thus far!

Found a couple of Halloween HAVE TO HAVES. Here they are in no specific order:

The Zombie chip and dip bowl from SpiritHalloween. This is a must for the annual "wicKED weeKEnD" Halloween party.Luckily, there are a couple of Spirit stores close by.

LED Headless Horseman snow glob. Unfortunately, the nearest home goods is a few hours away from me. Unless TJ Max gets one in (sometimes the merchandise is sent to both) then I have a special trip to make. This is one I may not get this year :(

LED Portrait from Kirklands. This one is going on my wall next to the other super cool one I got last year. 

Anybody else have a wish list for this season? 

In the mood for fall yall.

Waking up this morning, the temperatures remind me more of October/November than August. It's borderline cold actually. Growing up in a wooded valley, I have always loved Autumn because of the foliage.

This is the actual valley where I live...you could say it is "my neck of the woods".

Today I have a powerful urge to grab my camera, throw on a sweat shirt, and walk around the woods snapping pictures.....*sigh*....soon...sooooon! I can't wait!

If you missed Syfy's new season of Faceoff... then you did not have nightmares of a one eyed, baby eating troll.

Faceoff is another "sign of the season" as they usually have the finale right around Halloween...plus they have amazing costumes and makeups that really give me ideas for my own Halloween shenanigans. 

This year they have a group of returning veterans from past seasons going up against a group of new comers. Should make for some good episodes.

If you did not watch last night....then this thing did not haunt your dreams!

Anytime I find Jewel Weed in the woods behind the house... I know Autumn is close.

RUN TO YOUR WORKSHOPS!

Real panic is setting in. 80 days till the big night and all we have to show for it is a hanging dummy prop with a questionable motor and a few awesome PVC Candles to add to the graveyard. It's an exercise in extreme stress as we wait and wait and wait some more for word on our home loan. I just know that it will all go down SMACK DAB in the middle of Halloween. 

We usually decorate inside the first week of SEPT and then put out the cemetery, lighting, and wire needs the last week of SEPT. We always wait for the heavy hitting animitronics and bigger props till the night of Halloween. I fear we will get it all set up and BAM close on our new dream house (Complete with real ghost stories). 

What is a haunter to do.....worry is my best friend and anxiety is my bedfellow. Oh well....it is what it is and the show must go on!
