It reminds me of this art show I went to in San Francisco once. They were showing work by this Japanese artist who built all these post-apocalptic survival machines. He has this sensory deprivation survival tank that was quite creepy.
They were also showing another artist who made sculptures out of this fungus culture that grew as a membrane. So there was this room full of draperies that looked like they were made of human flesh.
